These winners were chosen by an eminent jury panel made up of Mr.Satish Naik and           Dr  K S Anantha Krishna  based on presentations made in each category.

The chief guest for the evening was the Honourable Minister of Transport and Bangalore Urban, Sri Ramalinga Reddy.

Speaking at this event, Lakshmi Narayana, BBMP Commissioner said, “I am happy to see that these awards recognize efforts made across the state, in places such as Gulbarga and Bijapur, and which areas placed outside of Bangalore. These awards serve as an encouragement to all, to come up with projects that will contribute to the development of the state.”

The youngsters of this troupe are self-taught and are primarily the children of construction labourers. They have opened for major shows such as India’s Got Talent.

Brigade Group and GIC Singapore acquire landmark Whitefield property from HUL

The 10 th Budget pretension by our Hon’ble CM had a mix of social and economic issues covered. The Real estate did not attract much attention in this budget, though the Industry had made fervent appeal on various fronts.

  • The reduction of VAT on M Sand to 5 % is a welcome step and we had sought help in mitigating sand supply issue.
  • Online registration will bring in more transparency to the system .  Since our state is a pioneer in all e-related efforts we do hope the concept is well promoted and reaches its ultimate goal of minimal human interface in this process.
  • The increase on Petrol and Diesel levies will increase prices all commodities including items used in the sector.  This is a regressive step.
  • The planned extension of Road width at important areas will enable smoother flow and faster traffic movement.
  • The planned sky walks on PPP model need to be studies. How it will help a common man need to be looked into, since a ppp model always attracts toll/levies.

ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಬಯಲುಸೀಮೆಗೆ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ನೀರಾವರಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ. ಜನ ಮತ್ತುಜಾನುವಾರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಶುದ್ಧ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ಇಡೀದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ತರಕಾರಿ, ಮಾವು, ರಾಗಿ ಮುಂತಾದ ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಅವಿಭಜಿತಕೋಲಾರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯನ್ನು ಜಲ ಗಂಡಾಂತರದಿಂದ ಪಾರು ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲವಾದರೆ ಆಫ್ರಿಕಾ ಖಂಡಕಡುಭೀಕರ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯಾಗಬಹುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲೇ ದೇಶದ ಇನ್ನೊಂದುಮರುಭೂಮಿ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯಾಗುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಶಯವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.


ಖ್ಯಾತ ನೀರಾವರಿ ತಜ್ಞ ಶ್ರೀ ಜಿ.ಎಸ್. ಪರಮಶಿವಯ್ಯ ಅವರ ಪರಿಕಲ್ಪನೆಯಂತೆ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮವಾಹಿನಿನದಿಗಳಿಂದ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಸಮುದ್ರ ಸೇರುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಟಿಎಂಸಿ ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಲ್ಪ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದನೀರನ್ನು ಬಯಲುಸೀಮೆಗೆ ಹರಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ. ಉದ್ದೇಶಿತ ಎತ್ತಿನಹೊಳೆ ಯೋಜನೆಯಿಂದಬಯಲುಸೀಮೆಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವಷ್ಟು ನೀರು ಸಿಗದು. ಯೋಜನೆಯಿಂದ ಕೇವಲ 18ರಿಂದ 24 ಟಿಎಂಸಿನೀರನ್ನಷ್ಟೇ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ.


1974ರಲ್ಲಿ ಎದ್ದ ನೀರಾವರಿ ಕೂಗಿಗೆ ಈವರೆಗೂ ಯಾವ ಸರ್ಕಾರವೂ ಓಗೊಟ್ಟಿಲ್ಲ. ಅನೇಕಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ಬಂದರು, ಹೋದರೂ ಬರಪೀಡಿತ ನಾಡಿಗೆ ಹನಿ ನೀರು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲ. ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲವೇ. ನಮ್ಮ ಜನರು ತೆರಿಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲವೆ. ನಮಗೆ ನೀರು ಕೇಳುವ ಹಕ್ಕೂಇಲ್ಲವೆ. ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರವೇ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಬೇಕುಪೊಳ್ಳು ಭರವಸೆ, ಯೋಜನೆ ಸುಳ್ಳು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿ ಸಾಕು. ನಮಗಿನ್ನೂ ಪರಿಹಾರ ಬೇಕು.
